FRM research into international use of alternative vehicle fuels published

The global survey of the take up and experience of waste and recycling collection vehicles using alternative fuels has been published by the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA). Frith Resource Management led on the research, which was released this week following the ISWA National Congress held last week (22nd September 2022). The study considered electric, hydrogen fuel cell, hydrogen combustion, Biofuels, CNG, LNG fuelled vehicles and hybrids. Examples of barriers, lessons learned including key benefits and challenges are explained based on feedback from the respondents to the survey and wider commentary from manufacturers and the waste management industry.
